I got a job, yeah got a good job
I got a job, it’s a pretty good job
Wake up and go in the morning
Come home in the evening
Get paid on Friday
It lasts me ‘til Thursday

I don’t want to lose it, I'll do anything to keep it… this goddamn job
I don’t take it for granted, cause they’re few and far between… these goddamn jobs
I get tired and bored and more tired and more bored… of this goddamn job
I may complain about it and then complain some more… but it’s better than the alternative

Still got a job, it’s an ok job
Still got my job, yeah I got a damn job
I have to deal with that asshole
Fake smile on my face
Two weeks off in the summer
And then back to the grindstone

Sometimes I want to mouth off, but I censor myself… goddamn job
My boss is full of himself, and gives raises, like, never… goddamn job
Some rich guys own the place, and could give a shit about me… goddamn job
I’ll wake up and go tomorrow, come home late in the evening
It goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on… 'til it’s over.
