Description:
I still feel I have somewhere to go with this piece, although I am not sure where. I put together a chorus/bridge in B minor to go with it but it ended up hard and grungy so I may have to do something else with it...

I'm glad you got your keyboard - this is a bit more
refreshing, in my opinion, than the loops only music you
had been creating.

I agree with you that it needs some other sections to make
it sound less the same throughout,

I really like the melody.. it has kind of a rainy day feeling
sorry for myself kind of feel. I'd really be interested in
hearing where you go with this. Plans for lyrics and
vocals? I think they would integrate nicely with the song
you have composed.

Well I wasn't to record vocals, but at your suggestion I burnt the track to CD
and went to bed and listened to it a couple of times, and as I had hoped some
lyrics and a rather rudimentary tune popped into my head, as well as a chorus
which I need to now do the music for. The updated version should be up here
in about a week (I still havent really got over the shock of what my voice
sounds like on tape!!!)

Thanks for the comments; they mean more to me than usual as I particularly
enjoy your own work.

Wow! &mdash 03/20/05 - 12:54:20 PM
I must say that I'm impressed. I must be an old foagy, but
if you really are 13, this piece is great. It is actually similar
to some minimalists like Philip Glass or Brian Eno. It could
use an ending, and probably shouldn't have lyrics.

I'm impressed because if this is what you are doing at 13,
I can't wait to hear what you'll be doing at 20!!!

Keep up the great work.
