Leaving the plantation
Piercing guitar. Insistent vocal. The quieter section after the "you can walk away" line works well. I like what you do with the drums, too. The guitar then suggests struggle, how difficult it can be to "leave the plantation". "Stinky" is in fine form throughout! Your music is always thought-provoking, and this is no exception. Impressive work.

Hello Philip
Your a regular in the house Philip, so let me open the door a bit... I refuse to explain these things, and post the lyrics only by Julian's request. Explain too much, and the hypnotized appear... but this piece is a companion to something else I made, which for some reason I can't finish. The term plantation roughly corresponds to the media culture. The headdressers, literally then, are those who create the look of the head. How did that seventh grade civics teacher dress your head? Dress is a term from military drill, it means to keep ones place in respect to those also in the drill. Yer head is a where? What kinda head do you have and why?
People are leaving the plantation. You dig? Just helping out is all...

Daug ... you sure take this MJ thing to another level. You are very experimental and creative in your approach and I admire that. I'm always pulled to safety. The last couple of posts have been very interesting. Dig those drums ... double bass! ... and that guitar tone is killer!
