Description
A couple of years ago I was given an unusual gift: to have Kurt Baumer provide two separate fiddle tracks to two pieces of work I submitted - for me to mix in and have fun and learn with. I submitted the acoustic guitar parts, and was presented with his masterful fiddle tracks. This was my introduction to mixing. Though aware I was way outta my league, I decided to press on and approach Loob up on his ‘need drums?’ offer. He graciously gave of his experience, energy, talent and patience to add drums, arrange, mix and master this tune. Frank Robinson (Shizack) contributed his bass talents.
Bottom line’s here: I played with drums and bass, for a couple of months when about 16 years old, (a long while back, trust me), and we didn’t fare well. This was like stepping into a dream.
