Description
There used to band called The Peccadiloes who had a song called U.S.S.O that I never did find out what it meant so I wanted to write a song with just initials as the title, then I thought of Ian Brown's song F.E.A.R where each line spells out the initials, so this song is a mix of those inspiration points.
I could be terribly oblique and let you try to guess what it's all about...but, to be a honest..it doesn't mean anything.
The Missus helped with the lyrics and backing vox.
Hope you like it

Lyrics
After midnight, silent darkness
All my sorrows disappear
Any man surmises distance
Absent mothers sunken dreams

A.M.S.D

Angel mining splintered diamonds
Ancient malice spells defeat
Android masses souls defected
Altered minions shall destroy

A.M.S.D
A.M.S.D

Acting madmen storming dungeons
Acid morals slow decay
Anger masking shattered daydreams
As malignant stories drown

Very cool in a synth-poppy way. Clever idea, lyrics work really well! Nice synth voices and a very catchy hook. What more could you want? I like this a lot! ;)

Seriously, awesome job, great concept. Really enjoyed it immensely!
A little bit of a darkness to the lyrics, which I like (just a little, lol)

I like the backing - solid, full, with some nice riffs. You and the Missus do a good job on the vocals! I like the full sound of the solo that comes in around 1:40 or so. I enjoyed this.

hey, the bee takes flight!
Very nice bit of synth pop, took me right back to listening to human league etc! Good idea using the letters - gives you a structure to work around. Regards to the missus - we would have met up round about nowish, but they cancelled Knebworth this year!! Cool tune dood!

As Many Sing Dissong
Great song there, Bee. I especially like the chorus with the almost anthem quality to it. Good idea for the lyrics and a quality fade out.

Mrs. King adds a nice flavor to the singing also.

Cool concept well realized. Strong images "Angel mining splintered diamonds" have a sci-fi edge. Guitar stabs remind me of the Police.

cool
this is a very cool track, loving the sound of your guitar, classic tone. I really like the chorus as well, your wife sounds awesome in this. would have been a hit in the 80's for sure. is that your guitar doing the solo? great sound (love anything that you can't tell what it is).

the concept is excellent too; should be a challenge. I have to warn you: I may be stealing this idea.

gang of four
I was just watching a clip of them the other day doing 'to hell with poverty'
Andy Gil is a great guitarist.
The solo is double tracked distorted guitars with TONS or reverb.
I think I was trying to get a sort of Bowie feel going on where the guitars don't sound like guitars.
Feel free to take the lyric concept and run with it, Will be interesting to see what happens.
Thanks for dropping in and glad you liked it
cheers

A marvellous song, dude.
I like the mix of guitar tones, huge drum sound. It reminded me a bit of darker side of eighties dance-pop like depeche mode.
vocals sitting great in the mix too. outstanding, production-wise.
"the missus" is sounding good on vocals there at the end.
really enjoyed it!

nice one
Nice lyrical concept. It's cool how it all comes together. I didn't read the description initially and it took me a little while to figure out what was going on. I think I might have the chorus stuck in my head for a while tonight.

Oops!
Another one I've missed, sorry Brendan!
This is clever writing by using the initials for the verses and that's also the chorus, very clever.
The backing sounds great with the drums and synth, very catchy and I really enjoyed this song, nice vocals, you make a great song writing team.
