Description
Here's No. 48 from my long series of piano miniatures collectively titled "By The Numbers." At 1:58, it's easy to take. Just a little counterpuntal thing that is...gone before you know it. This one kind of has the feeling of "starting HERE...going THERE...and COMING BACK AGAIN.

Lovely work as usual.
But maybe too short; when I hear work of this quality I want it to go on for longer. Downloaded with thanks.

Wonderful
I've always envied you for your ability to play these little gems. Visiting your site, I'm even more impressed with how you are willing to notate and share your music with others. I'm sure it will take me months to work up this piece, but thanks for giving me the opportunity to at least try.

Schumannesque?
I love this. For whatever reason, even though your harmonic explorations are more advanced, this reminded me powerfully of Schumann in its overall colour and approach to writing. Not sure why, but I mean that as a compliment of course.

Simply beautiful. It may be short, but it will linger with me the rest of the day. How come I always close my eyes, lean back, and breathe deep and freely when you play? What a delight. You are my "pause" button for life.

Man!....Man....Paul, your playing is so seamless and dynamically pure. You have such a wonderful feel for your craft and your musicality is off the charts.

so glad to drop back i and hear that you still up to playing wonderfully thoughtful piano. I love little pieces like this. A well developed idea that is explored and then...

Bouncy energy
it does indeed go there, with quite a bounce in its step, love it! Delicious little interlude... perhaps this could be called a "caffeinated nocturne" :-)
