Description
This is an Old English Nursery Tune. I am teaching tone chimes and African drumming in summer school this year, so I'm writing p some tunes that can be played by 4th & 5th graders. Since it appears to be so slow around here, and I haven't submitted anything for 6 months, I decided, "what the heck, I'll post it" Of course, in the process, I had to get on the forums, comment on some folks' music, and spend about two hours here, but that's what summer is for. (If you're a grade school music teacher) Lyrics are, like many nursery rhymes, a little weird, especially at the end. We have been working on it for two days in the class, and the kids all sing along on the last line.

Lyrics
Oranges and lemons, say the bells of St. Cle-mens,
You owe me five farthings, say the bells of St. Mar-tin's
When will you pay me, say the bells of Old Bailey,
When I grow rich, say the bells of Shoreditch.
When will that be? say the bells of Stepney,
I do not know, says the great bell of Bow.
Here comes a candle to light you to bed,
And here comes a chopper to chop off your head.
