Description
This song started life a few years ago, and is meant to be a bit of fun using a fairly basic rock 'n' roll chord progression. I cleaned it up recently and added new guitar solos. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed putting it together!

Enjoy The Ride
There is such a smooth mellow groove to this ... I know you probable don't want to hear comparisons but it does have that creamy JJ Cale groove. The lead guitar tone is is round ... not bright when I think of a start ... you must have used neck side pickup with the treble down for that smooth sound. It sounds a lot like my jazz tone I get from my old fender jazz master ... nice sounding solo. Good job on the drum placement and I like the live growl the bass gets at certain points.
As someone else has mentioned ... a real feel good tune. I enjoyed the ride...

I'm happy to take J.J. Cale comparisons - you've reminded me how much I like him! The pickup was in the second from the bottom setting (whatever pickup that is using) with the treble up. I think some of the warmer tone is coming from the Garageband setting that I made up to use with the Maton acoustic, but use a fair bit for solos with any of the electric guitars, too (the Compression is set to "acoustic guitar clarify", with some echo and reverb added). Glad you enjoyed it - thanks again for your support and the detailed comment!

I can get over complicated at times and try to restrain myself, but I keep thinking of one more thing that might work... This one has two guitar rhythm tracks, one picky sort of lead and the solos track, as well as a couple of drum tracks, bass and a touch of organ.
