Description
At last I had time today to come back to this and I think I've improved it quite a bit. Added a new melody line further up the scale than the previous parts to add variation, and reworked the ending so that to me at least it makes slightly more sense. The original is now deleted.
This music is intended to accompany a country walk. The crew of the starship have been in space for over one hundred years, most of that time frozen in suspended animation, desperately looking for a world fit to live on after the Earth and her colony planets became uninhabitable due to a war. Then they find the world they come to call The Haven; this music accompanies some of the analysis crew as they walk through the countryside enjoying the sunshine, the air and the serenity (and taking samples for testing of course). Being out in the open for the first time in seventeen years (the time they've spent not in suspended animation during the search) would have a great effect on a person's mood.

Love the story that accompanies the music - it all makes sense! There's a happy lightness to the music, but a richness too. Much enjoyed.
