Description
have a Bb Pocket Trumpet that I bought recently to try to incorporate into the Airport Seven experience some day. I just started playing and had my first lesson last week and realized it will take me at least a year just to get a consistent sound I'm happy with. However I did not let that stop me from trying to do something on this track. Instruments played here are: electric bass (two tracks - one high and modulated and one low and clean), hoof shaker, Indian tambourine like shaker, Hohner Melodica, and the aforementioned Allora Pocket Trumpet. I also played the Tanpura Devi on my iPhone (speaker to mic) and added a field recording from freesound.org credited here.

The trumpet was recorded in two ways. One with a mute that I rigged a Lavelier mic into so I can play through my guitar rig - and the other recorded clean with a Samson USB mic.
The basic drum track is an Apple Loop.
I could remix this forever - or stop now. I'm stopping now.
The picture is of King Tubby's mobile recording rig.

This sounds pretty good for a beginning on this instrument. Great job. and the sound is very solid.
