Description
I haven't done any Handel in a long time; come to think of it, I haven't done any Baroque music in a while, either. So, here's a rather scaled-down version of the final movement from Handel's "Music for the Royal Fireworks." By 'scaled-down', I mean I basically omitted the brass, and used recorders in place of oboes. The tone is somewhat softer, but the use of sampled kettledrums and contra-bassoon give it back some of the "Martial Musick" feel that King George II loved so much.
That's pretty much it...
::Instruments Used::
Soprano recorder
Alto recorder
Tenor recorder
Violin
Viola
Sampled theorbo
Sampled kettledrums
Sampled contra-bassoon
Enjoy!!

I'm enjoying your treatment of this piece, and the senses your recorders and strings stir. Thanks for dl!
