Description

A slice of indie rock that came together in 24 hours or so over the last two days. I started with a chugging riff sequence and it all kind of fell together. The only concession I've made to production is to really try and nail the vocals. The lyrics are about that frustration of trying to say sorry, despite not knowing exactly why you're sorry.
Play it loud and enjoy the distortion.

LOUD - real LOUD
digging the distortion. Been working on a doom metal tune today and this is a great antidote to my drop tuned droner. I know that feeling you're talking about too. I'm always apologizing to my daughter - easier than explaining what I meant that she misunderstood that pissed her off. lol
Excellent track - great vocals - love the lost lead at the end.

I like your phrasing on 'never get right' too. nice little changeup (I'd put a matching drum fill under each of those lines). i like the droning solo too. great lyrical concept. very true. This fits like a glove. I rocked this jam on your FB the other day and I'm glad I popped back in for a reminder. Remind me to DL this joint, too. The subject matter is on point. What guy hasn't been in that situation? Ugh. Guitars sound great, drums are fantastic. I didn't pick up on it at first, but Craig's suggestion re the drum fills on the "never get right" would really push this over the top. If I voted, it would be a 10.
