Description
This has been the longest gap for me in between writing/ posting a song since i joined here The reason being that I got bronchitis a month ago and with a treatment of antibiotics that were too strong, I was feeling worse than ever. My voice and chest just packed up and with a persistent tickle cough i thought that really was the end of my singing, until this last week when I managed to get this one out, after changing the key so many times I couldn't count. I also had a massive lyric block as the song itself is one I managed to play on guitar quite a while ago, I persisted with the song and the lyrics just fell into place once I got the synth chords and melody recorded.... hope you like this somewhat philosophical song, M

Maurice is back to his old form: a mellow song and positive lyrics that celebrate the beautiful things in life. There is always such joy in the music you write and you deliver it in a style that just makes the listener feel that all is right in the world. I enjoyed hearing you again, but am sorry to hear that you have had such vocal issues of late. Sounds like that's clearing up, so I hope there will be many more new songs that you post in the months ahead. THIS ONE is a little gem that sparkles amongst all your other wonderful compositions.
