thanks edobandit I suppose this piece could go a lot of things . It was originally meant to accompany a video with a voice over , so I kept it sparse. I am so glad you liked it. This is simply lovely. I was expecting some orchestration or synth pads to pop up at some point, but they don't. You could easily do more with this, but it's really nice just as it is. Lovely, melancholic music and great, great reverb on the piano. You've captured your description perfectly. I like it a lot. Beautiful. Check out my latest song called Nocturne op. 55 Andante

I love the melancholy feeling in general and this captures that heart achingly well. The sparseness makes it even stronger - even if I too am sure that more could be done with it for different "purposes".
