Description

Laid back jazz piece I composed in Logic 9 and performed on the Akai EWI WInd instrument and Akai MPK mini keyboard. The WIVI band plugin was used for Trumpets and Tenor Sax. Other saxes are from the Korg M1 Patchman samples.

	one laid back mole Iam gonna have to get one of those Akai WI. Cool tune. Wonder why midi can simulate strings, bass, etc... other instruments but cant seem to nail the sax that well. You'll love the EWI
If you get one, really does add a lot to what MIDI can do! I think the EWI does a pretty good job on expression but depends on sample quality. I love the WIVI trumpet sound but I don't really have great sax samples at my disposal yet. The tenor sounds ok, but the others are the ancient Korg M1 which is using 80s tech samples yet. Some day I may spring for the saxes from Samplemodeling.com - check those out!
