Description
Got to thinking about Country Joe McDonald when I started this and this is what happened. Considered giving it a more psychedelic CJ and the Fish type arrangement (what an awesome band) - but never got around to it.
Many thanks to Smokey for hosting the festival and to all for showing up with or without music.
Stay away from the brown Lipitor.

Lyrics
When you really need a quarter - but you’ll settle for a nickel
There’s a name for that - and it’s called the trickle
Oh oh - the trickle down blues
Don’t raise taxes on the richest in the nation
Hell – cut back services and lower expectations
Oh oh – the trickle down blues
Polarize us on the left and the right
Cause you can’t shake hands with a fist that’s tight
Let super pacs fund the propaganda
The poisoned lies that they’re trying to hand ya’
Say vote for my man the others a devil
But from where I stand the field looks level
Oh oh – the trickle down blues
It’s hard to separate the bad from the worse
Remember that time when we stayed the course
We’re still paying for that oneway ticket
Put our money on a lame horse – and now we stand around and kick it
When you really need a quarter -but you’ll settle for a nickel
There’s a name for that - and it’s called the trickle
Oh oh - the trickle down blues
Give them just enough to makes ends meet
The foreclose on their kitchens if they can’t take the heat
Oh oh – the trickle down blues
There’s a name for that - and it’s called the trickle

Right there with you brother! Personally I'm sick to death of being trickled on! Great lyrics. So cool to hear you do something like this! Great harp playing!
