Lyrics
hey
I said to you
in the distance of your mind
cant you see your decisions have made you blind
theres no reason left for you to stick around
cant you see

cant you see
cant you see
you mean to me
somewhere soon we will all see
she will be lying awake for you
no easy way out it seems to me
questioning every want to be
isnt it funny what you cant see when your all allright
and you know I held onto a dream
cant you see
cant you
cant you

I said along time ago
hold my hand
lets make the most of the world
is it done when you know it all all right
question how
what we've done is it all right
you become what you believe
even though you cannot see
take a stand so you can see what you question now
what you question now cant you question now what you can see is real

what you questioning
I love the chordal work on both sides. And the reverb drenched distorted sounds are very cool. The bass is almost McCartney-like! In places the vocal is almost Bowie-like. A very cool listen!

That bass line sits in the pocket like nobodys business.I like the little hints of dissonance you sprinkle in...Always look forward to your next new thing man...Enjoyed it much.

Agree with the bass line comments ... has a touch of pop in the overall feel ... melodic, dreamy ...

what you questioning
The music insinuates itself through the beat and the clanging hardness of some parts - but all softened by the emotion in the vocal and the neat riffs. It works well.

Built strong on a bed
of noize - with rock solid bass at the wheel - and lyrical flow carrying the mind with the booty. Maximum excellence.

My favorite line:
you become what you believe

Strange number musically. The bass is hypnotic. The rest is...pure Ha Cha Cha.

I like the walking bass, you don't usually hear in a song like this which makes it cooler. Trademark crunchiness is in evidence, doubled vocal works well.

this is sounds like you, but there is something different about it that I can't put my finger on, must be the bass line. Also, it sounds like totally different songs depending on whether or not you listen to it on hi-fi speakers or just the computer speakers.

very modal
If Philip Glass had put on a leather jacket and ripped jeans it would sound something like this. There's almost a chorus in there somewhere too. Dangerously near a song. Reminds me slightly of the band Spiritualised. Hints of tune in a maelstrom of bass. Love it.
