Things Must Change Nice changes ... very Steely Dan -ish ... love the organic sounding bass ... are you playing with brushes ? ... wand stick? This is a different sound than I have heard from you. I really like the sound you're getting ...when you build dynamically and snap that snare... yeah! fine playing Fred. Opening horns are a nice intro ... well played piano and the sax solo is pretty sweet. I have listened to this 4 times now and hang on I'm going to download it ...... I don't think it needs vocals but with the right vocals sung smooth with harmonies could really top this off ... I think a well done guitar solo would work great. Fantastic recording!!
