Description
written and recorded entirely spontaneously and extemporaneously July 2012 on flip video camera. yamaha acoustic shure mic behringer amp. this is my soul pouring out. no lyric sheet. just stream of consciousness -- no chords worked out, no ideas mulled about... just me. what I would have played had I been at woodstock and allowed on stage. but I would never have remembered it later.

Glad to see you avoided the brown acid
nice that you found a good alternative too :)
I love this - fearless and forward - great spirit - excellent guitar opening - cool spontaneous singing.

Primal Strum Therapy
Some great ideas can come from releasing your id and letting it go. I'd take it a step further and focus on one or two ideas, developing it into a composition, but that's just me :)

nice guitar
playing, and very organic delivery. Might want to work on keeping relaxed when you sing, as your vocals sound a bit choked. Have you ever heard of Atlas Sound? He's a musician who essentially releases albums of improvisations. This is cool.

Isn't that what they did to Richie Havens? Get out there and make something up! I think it worked out okay for him. I dig the Classical Gas vibe in your guitar playing!

That guitar is
seriously good...reminds of Steve Howe from Yes.
The lyrics put a smile on me face .....it's like listening to somebody working a new song out ....the occasional comprehensible sentence/phrase and the rest jumbly words.....this would have flown at Woodstock !

Whales breathe
Guitar playing is full of energy - certainly has a live feel. It is interesting to hear the vocal - you can almost hear your mind working as ideas come! Good addition to the Woodstock songs.

I know what you mean when you get back to the basics and mic the guitar and then just start playing. Much more natural than the digital compositions of the day. Enjoyed, thanks for sharing.
