Your piece is very reminiscent of Vangelis' work and you
should be very proud of the similarity.
Vangelis is one of my very favorite artists, too. He is a
master of expression and detail, and is one of the few
composers who makes synthesized instruments sound
like a real symphony orchestra. His work with more
"synthesized" textures is wonderful as well. His artistry is
an inspiration for you, obviously.
As in all the pieces of yours I've heard so far, this one has
that same mood of melancholy, pensiveness, and
introspection. It's perfect for "chilling", getting in touch
with one's emotions, taking a deep breath and allowing
this noisy, fast-paced world slide by unnoticed for a few
precious moments.
There were only a couple of spots where this piece
seemed to sort of "float" without any direction; my ears
wanted to hear some kind of linear movement. But this is
a very small thing in view of the overall excellence of this
track -- in concept, production and performance.
The Korg synths used on this track had a wonderful
sound. Were any of them an M1, by chance? I have one
back at my home in Arizona, and might dust it off again
after hearing this great track.

stunning tribute, nuanced in wonderful detail--the slide
in pitch at the end of some phrases, the bright synth bells,
the thunder, all reminded me of that rainy, urban
landscape the movie was drenched in.
Let me repeat, this is stunning. But, you already know how
I feel about your music. Thanks for posting this.
