Description
Work In Progress. Normally I only post my finished songs, but seeing as it may be a while before this or anything else in the works is done, I figure what the hell? So this is rough and sans any kind of mix or master, just straight off of GB with whatever eq, and effects I was monkeying with at the time. Currently all the guitar sounds are tweaked and distorted synths. I think they sound pretty badass, but still don't compare to the real thing. I'll most likely have someone redo the guitars using the real thing. Synth bass, original drum programming, along with other synth tweaks and noodling all inservice of a hard rock tune, and coming from a sax player . . . hmmm that's just where the muse has fallen this go around.
This song came together in stages. I had a hard time coming up with a compelling chorus and went through about 6 other ideas before finding something that seemed to work with the rest of the tune. I'm in the process of coming up with lyric ideas and a vocal melody. Any thoughts or 1st impressions is appreciated. Thanks for listening.
