Change partners Dance club would not be a genre I would normally be attracted to but I thought you might have a slightly different take on it Vic. This piece has the dance club beat but it is more layered and sophisticated than most club tracks. Balanced, spacious mix! I enjoyed the dance but now I must change partners :-) Regards, Peter. Old and new A surprising piece from you Vic - somewhat different from the traditional pieces I am used to hearing from you. What fascinates me about this is is the way you suggest the traditional forms but give them a very modern twist (the photo captures the contrast well!). Clear and clean mix. Much enjoyed. Opening... Very much catches my interest. And as you add layers (of loops?)' the whole creation just springs to life. Good Photo - musical picture too Rich piece that takes me all all over the place. I'm on the water at one point merging to another place, and some sort of tribal event (1:49) at another. That's a neat use... ...of a slidey, fog-horn-ish drone...And the whole mix on top of it is like the modern life of the world all mixmastered together... But clearly... There's still that sense of space to it all...and the different vocal samples give it a weird intensity... Check out my latest song called Uno/I Like The Way... Very nice flow, from a meditative drone into a nice mix. The sounds all gel well and it stays interesting throughout.
