You picked the right category &mdash 02/24/05 - 05:33:09 AM
Pretty funny stuff... liked how you could barely hold in the
laughter as you were making this. As far as the mix goes I
would have brought the bass up higher and the vocal
down a little... however, since this was made at a party I'm
guessing overall production wasn't a consideration.

Good first post. Keep posting!

Yeah, fun stuff &mdash 02/24/05 - 06:09:36 PM
That bass is really good. He should be writing platinum records. That line he plays is phenomenal. Go slap bass!!!

An embarassment. This is nothing but an abuse of the
potential in Garageband. It just goes to show what you get
when apple makes such a powerful program available to
the masses. Now the power is in the wrong hands...

I agree and disagree &mdash 02/26/05 - 06:53:52 PM
Yeah, so much can be achieved with a library full of loops and blips. Any imbecile with an opposable thumb can create some of the shlock appearing on this site. True talent comes through when you play your own instrument. However, I do agree that much more can be achieved on this piece of software than what is shown on this song. Bottom line: if you have the resources, use them. Rely on loops only when necessary. The bass and guitar were the only real instruments used, and I did them both. Though some of the vocals were mine, too. For that, I am ashamed.
