Description:
I found this tune that I had redone about a month ago... thought I'd post it here. This tune is way out of my comfort zone. For the last 4 or 5 months I've been writing mainly musical theatre tunes. Thought I'd try and do something a little different and this was it. I had posted this tune in a different version a while ago... though it never felt right to me. This version, I feel, is much improved. Lyrics:
Don't look now, your burning desire Has burst into an uncontrolled fire Don't look now, you've been paying double And your last step was a step into trouble Run away but I made you look Hide your eyes but I made you look and I knew you would now you can't unsee what you have seen and dream the dream without it understood Don't look now, you took the wrong exit Forget the map, cause there's no way to fix it Don't look now, the miles are plenty And your stuck cause your gas tank is empty Don't look now, your paint job is peeling And you forgot the cracks on the ceiling Don't look now, the faucet is leaking And when you walk the floor boards are creaking. Fender, violin, Fatar Studio 900, AT4033, MOTU 828Software:

the instrumental sections are excellent. I think the
vocals could be made to stand out a little more ...
they are slightly drowned by the guitar ... otherwise
very nice.
