Greensleeves
This is probably my most favourite melody ... so wonderfully played and a beautiful version. This song always makes me feel melancholy but I love it!

Gentle rolling...
...and peaceful with a touch of contemporary syncopation. (Some distortion on my side when volume increases...did you miss a note in the melody at 3:09?...oops.)...I really like the pastoral feeling you achieve by the repeated figure in the left hand. It is consistent and very satisfying and gives the whole number a sense of "belonging" together. I enjoyed hearing you again.

An emotional version
with incredible dynamics: I would love to hear you perform this live. Probably my favorite melody too and I've never heard any version sound anything like this. Lovely range of passion and delicacy as you tell of your relationship with "my lady Greensleeves". Really beautiful interpretation Shay and I thank you for the download.
Hope you are having a good holiday and that next year is very good to you. Cheers.

Sleeves of Green
This is a lovely rendition of the classic, really fresh and new. I also hear distortion at the loud points - may be your mic sensitivity or level control? Choice accompanying artwork too.

It's great...
... to hear your work again. Add me to the list of those who consider "Greensleeves" one of their favorite melodies, and I must say that I enjoyed your rendition thoroughly. Nice work :)

Heard this on Soundcloud
An interesting take on a beautiful tune.

Like Paul I was getting some distortion as well which is a pity given the contemplative nature of the piece.

Happy New Year

A really nice arrangement, Shay...
Reminds me in feel of some of John Renbourn's extrapolations of folk melodies on guitar...

I'm still getting distortion on the loud bits, and that's a shame because most of the recording is very sonorous and rich... Showing up on both sources...

Greensleeves
You tweak the melody just enough to make it new and interesting, but still recognisably the same. Good variety in the attack. The recording is a little hot at times, but nevertheless beautiful.
