My first attempt at Garageband and posting on MacJams. This is a song based on Psalm 91 and reflects how I feel about my relationship with God. Throughout the bible God has been likened to an eagle or falcon and also a hen who protects her chicks. He is my refuge and my protector. And, He loves me despite my habitual disregard for him and my sinful behavior in the past. It has 3 tracks, acoustic guitar, vocal and bass. I have posted this song on MacJams before, only to pull it off and rewrite the melody and guitar work. You can see the video version of this song here http://youtu.be/3u_tuy61gcI Thanks for listening!

Verse 1
I was blind now I see
precious grace You gave to me
I was lost now I am found
You are the light I follow now

Verse 2
When darkness comes I speak Your Name
You are my God to You I pray
More of You Lord, less of me
I will trust what my eyes can't see

You're like the wind we never see
A quiet voice that speaks to me
A gentle touch when I am afraid
Feels like feathers - covering me

Verse 3
The world can sing its siren song
But the call is not as strong
As my Savior's voice so sweet
His living water has captured me

Verse 4
When my time comes to its end
I will leave to meet my Friend
Who chose the cross to be with me
From now, thru eternity

You're like the wind we never see
A quiet voice that speaks to me
A gentle touch when I am afraid
Feels like feathers, covering me

I want to fly with You Lord,
I want to fly with You Lord
Fly with you, fly with you, fly with you
Under your wings Lord
I want to see all that You can see
And feel your feathers covering me
Thank you Lord for loving me

I love your guitar playing and tone. Clear and resonant vocal. Nice dynamics. The changes in dynamics are subtle but very effective. Nice clean mix!

Crystal sound...
In your vocal and guitar. Faithful adaptation of the psalm. I really like your fine guitar playing. And you sing with such sensitive conviction. Honoring to the Lord...

I think
it is brave to express your faith in song in a world that grows less spiritual each day. I love your voice. Obviously, you are a multi-instrumentalist. Well done. Thanks.

God is good. Singing about Him has become a passion of mine. With the help of the folks here on MacJams I am hoping to better develop a sound that is pleasing to the ear! Thank you for your feedback!
