Description
No. 70 from my collection of piano miniatures "By The Numbers." If you are interested, the score can be found here:

It's pretty short, so I think you might not get bored. DL away. I hope you are making a little playlist. That would be cool.

Lovely opening, Paul, and the piece skips along very nicely. Lightness and surety of touch to the fore, as always. A pleasurable listen for sure. Thanks, Peter.

This
gently floats through three centuries of western music. All done consummate grace Paul.

Tickle the ivories
Lovely piece. Just one remark. At 1:10 you go obviously into a new tonality and you sort of stay there: it never resolves back to the original. That leaves me feeling a little unsatisfied.

A miniature maybe..
...but a major discovery for me. That is so beautiful Paul. I will start listening to the rest of your music now. Just visited your website. I am so awed at the talent here here at MJ. It is such a diverse community and there is everything from rank amateurs (like me) to absolute pros (like you). And the sound on your recording is fantastic too. Thanks, Per

Paul,
It's always a marvel to me, as someone who tinkers away at several instruments, (without permission LOL), to hear that wonderful integration of technique and talent that come together when you present one of your pieces. As both an artist and composer, you show a mastery and understanding that leads us to places very few can go, but all can appreciate. I love this little piece because it leads me to anticipate, yet surprises at each turn. Wonderful!
