Description
This isn't really a new song. It's been sitting for quite a while, then I asked Vic, who kindly accepted doing vocals.

Vic is known for his fantastic guitar work, as part of his multiple talents. I'm truly grateful he accepted for helping out and taking his time for the vocals. He's, as usual, a fantastic partner to collaborate and I hope working with Vic in the future, not for old songs, but also music with his fantastic guitar work.

The story of this song happened to a friend ... We often hear about people losing their jobs and we feel sad for them, but how do THEY feel ?

Hey Feter !
Many thanks for your kind comment. Actually when I invited Vic all the guitar work was on the song, so unlike some collabs we did (and I hope the future ones) this one doesn't have Vic's great guitar work. I think it would be sounding nicer, but we just took a shortcut for this one.

Going Home - w/ Vic Holman
The changes, melody, and tempo perfectly match the mood of the lyrics. Well written song. Great lyrics. There's an underlying message of hope in the lyrics setting it apart from other songs dealing with similar subject matter. Nice production and mix. The guitar solo is very nice.

Nice collaboration of talents here. The composition has a nice flow, piano is nice. Vic's contributions give this a David Bowie flavor. Great work Yves and Vic!

This
is an all too common story for many people. I love Vic's singing and your guitar, Yves. Often, things have to be shaken up for a change to take place. Often, we come out better. I hope this for all of us. Thanks, guys.

Enjoyed overall feel...
...of this number. It doesn't strike me as "slick," but, rather, very authentic. Just solid playing from the band and an uncomplicated format and tune. I had trouble understanding the lyrics. Maybe it was the heavy bass that distracted me. I just wish the vocal was clearer.

Fine song, Yves. The arrangement and musicianship is very good. Your guitar work is a revelation. Inspired choice for the vocal work, too. Great to hear Vic in a slightly different context. Quality MJ collaboration. Regards to you both, Peter.

Hey Yves (and Vic) - nice work! This is an ambitious project for you Yves, and you did a excellent job on the arrangement of this piece. Well put together with lots of interesting changes to keep me, the listener engaged. Great job on the vox, Vic! You guys clearly have some good chemistry - something you should explore further. IMHO.

Enjoyed this collaborative effort - thanks!

Where's my lighter?
Nice collar and a great initial tune Yves. I do like the more live feel. As other have said, it does capture that raw 70s glam rock sound.
Structure-wise this is tight and hits all the right marks as the song progresses. I like the quiet section at 4 minutes and the build to the end. Enjoyed it.

Hey Freddy
It's indeed quite a sad subject. I found that Vic's vocals reflected the mood so much better than a previous version I had made with my vocals.
