Description:
This song is a war song. I composed it using loops. And I mixed Eastern Africa cultual tunes and American Rock tunes togather to make it sounds like a song about "Black Hawk Down". Hope you like it.

I like the idea of mixing elements &mdash 03/06/05 - 06:28:06 AM
and you selected the right loops to convey your stated
intent. You're production her is good.
One of things you'll notice though after being here a while
is that after you've listened to a number of tunes, you will
have heard many of these loops many times. It's not that
the loops are bad, it's the immediate mental response of
"not this loop again".

It's not that those loops are bad or that you arranged them badly....but
I've found that if they are easily recognizable...MacJammers will crucify
you. No doubt your friends in real life think this is great.

Keep it up...

"Loopy" &mdash 03/24/05 - 12:26:53 AM
Yep, my first song I posted was definitely "loopy"...but I get a kick out of hearing how others have used the same loops in totally different ways. After listening to a bunch of loopy jams here I'm going to try to hide those loops as best as I can from now on -- but I do really like how you've put them together here. The arrangement is really catchy even if the melodies are a tiny bit familiar.
