Lyrics
At the end of the day
You say the stars are just illusions,
that they're not there anymore.
Even so I think I'll go outside
and watch them, after all
That's what they're for.
I go outside
That's what they're for
I'm scared of death, I'm so afraid
every night I sleep won't be just sleep
so I go outside into illusions
cause they comfort me.
I can't sleep, so I go outside.
They comfort me, these stars.
I'm leaving home,
but I hope I locked the cellar door,
I've got this glowing garden
beneath the bed, below the floorboards
At the end of the day,
I hope hoping I could say to you,
that I told and story and
I did the best that I could
I'm leaving home,
so I hope I locked the cellar door,
I've got this glowing garden
below the bed, beneath the floorboards
At the end of the day,
I hope hoping I could say to you,
that the time we spend together
was meaningful
At the end of the day,
I hope hoping I could say it's true,
hat I told and story and
I did the best that I could
It's cold and dark, I make my way
out to the bench and I sit down,
the frogs are out this night
and in their song, I slowly drown,
in their song
I'm leaving home,
so I hope I locked the cellar door,
I've got this glowing garden
below the bed, beneath the floorboards
At the end of the day,
I hope hoping I could say to you,
that the time we spend together
was beautiful
You say the stars are just illusions,
that they're not there anymore.
Even so I think I'll go outside
and watch them, after all
That's what they're for.

This is a really nice tune. From the piano break on
transforms this from a good song to a really good song. I
like the nice flowing style. The vocals might come up just
a hair when it builds in the middle. (Great lyrics by the
way).
This is the first MacJams tune I've listened to in quite a
while. I just love it when the first one is a good one.
