Lyrics
When you say that you will
When you say that you don't
When you say that you will
But you know that you won't
When you know that you can
And you say that you don't

Refr: What can I say
What can I do
Forget and move on
And start anew

Bridge: So many lies
and so many promisses
no more disguise
on the edge of the abyss
We got to speak our minds
And clear the mist

What will you do
What will you say
Out there on your own
You got to find your own way
Everything has a price
Are you willing to pay

Refr

Bridge

What?
Like the lyrics, tune and enviably classy, smooth yet stimulating execution. Voice-wise, you could have been the singer for the theme song from "The Sopranos". Enjoy artwork as well.

Smooth...
There is a nice feeling to the music/rhythm/accompaniment on this track...and I like your straight-forward and very honest lyrics and the way you pitch them vocally.

WHAT CAN I SAY
I can say this "I was swaying to this cool tune right from the beginning to the end". It has a sweet vibe like jazzy blues. I love the doubling of the vocals which adds depth to the message of the song. Well done KC :)

What can I say - well, let's see....
You set the groove right from the start and your guitar and bass work swings. You have a smooth touch that have the notes seem to glide off the strings. Production overall sounds great - really enjoyed this one!

Love the artwork too. Another MJer who is also a talented visual and musical artist!

You could say
"I know how to set up a groove, and make you bop your head to it." It's really smoo ... oh, wait ... it's sultry --- how's that? Nice relaxed lead work goes perfect with the backing. Great job with the drums. Sounds like a real drummer --- to my old ears anyway. Enjoyed muchly.

I've been so busy I haven't been around much but I'm glad I stopped by and had a listen ... the drums real nice and jazzy ... your signature lead tone and cool keys all make of a very inspired tune... you just keep getting smoother ... wonderful groove and I really enjoy this melody.

Nice painting!!!!!
