Sounds Like an Exceelent band
The sound here is a bit smooth for my taste at first, but
really, really like the funk groove that kicks in about a
third of the way through.

High marks
for musicianship and production.

Would have been nice if there had been a theme that
would stick with me for longer than two seconds, but
that's jazz rock for you.

Nice meeting you at the chat.

I like this piece alot.
I really love those terrific chord changes alot.

Sounds fun.

Love that bassy guitar funk about 7/8th away through.
Then you break off into a nice electric guitar solo.

This is really cool stuff.

Funky 6/8
This starts out kind of plain for me, in common time. But
once you guys switch to 6/8, or that slow 3/4, and get
funky, this really takes off and is a lot of fun.

Might try reposting the whole piece?

You definitely...
...got your multi-groove going on with this tune. I like the latin/bossanova-style opening and the R&B/funk change. Love the key changes, as well. I'm a sucker for that hammaond B-3 sound. Great stuff. Bravo to all players. High marks here! Thanks for sharing.

A healthy dose
You cats play well together. The occasional doubled lines
with the sax and guitar, the comping, the funk changes
especially, and the really solid drumming, plus nice
groundwork bass playing, all are really fine. I think the
cymbals had too much reverb on them, or something,
made them sound like they were in a different space,
almost MIDI. Very cool solos, and very sad the song cut
off. Can you try resubmitting it? Man, you really start
grooving, come out of great solos, hit the recap, and,
bang, you leave. This is worth another submission.
Sometimes the downloads get cut off in transit, a glitch.
Would love to have a copy of the whole tune.
