Fine Song and Performance Thanks for listening. I'm sorry you couldn't hear the vocals very well. I am at a loss to explain why that happens for some folks. When I listen on my system the vocal is way above the other tracks. I have my mac feed into a Sony receiver and Bose speakers so maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe I should get some good headphones and plug directly into the Mac and I would hear what you'll hear. Check out my latest song called Strange Feeling

Double vocals This has that good Bronco living room jam feel to it. I'd leave the percussion in. I do agree with Mungo that the vocals could be brought up a bit more (do I sound like a broken record?) Also, I'm not sure if Tracy needs to double her vocals. I think she sounds fine alone. If a double vocal isn't perfect, it can sound a little out of tune. This is a revised version, isn't it? I like it much better. Check out my latest song called Keep Looking for Jesus (MJRF)

Double vocals Tom, Yes it is a new version. I knew the first one was awful before I posted so I am not sure why I did that. I am really clueless about people saying the vocal isn't loud enough as explained above. By the way, I am going to rename our group based on a comment you made last time. When we occasionally played in public with another guitar player we would call ourselves High and Lonesome but now I am going to change it to Homegrown. Perfect name for us. I loved the vocals (as much as I could hear in the mix) and
the guitar.
You might want to consider bringing the vocals forward in
the mix. Also, I'm not sure if the percussion is adding
anything to the song except being slightly distracting.
