Description
Experiment with unedited field recording.

(The accompaniment is a tad subtle. Headphones or good speakers in a quiet room recommended.)

Very nice capture. You're on a roll. Roll on --- or rock on, as the case may be.

Petroglyph Rock
Very visual piece, with an obvious native American flavor - could do well as a soundtrack for the right type of film. Well done and interesting work.

Haunting and mesmerizing...
I've heard a lot of people really butcher and hack this instrument. For you, it is a voice. It is your truth, your gospel, your passion, and I'm in awe of your ability to express with it.

The piece does have a timeless, haunting, dreamtime quality. Nicely realised. Thanks, Peter.

This is a great piece - physically effective in slowing the heart beat. LOVE the harmonies of the flutes.

flutes
I guess I never stated this: it's one flute that has a drone pipe. So it's all just one live recording.
Thanks!

Petroglyph
i took the headphone advice. for some reason, i always want your pieces a bit longer, maybe like 10+ minutes. i suppose because i think it's good 'music for meditation'. i mean that quite literally. i recall mentioning binaural beats under your tunes before, and that came to mind again here. i don't know if they do what they claim, but from personal experience, they DO alter my state. when combined with peaceful music--or even something like a constant raining, or some other natural whitenoise, i flow away. i'll take this piece and do some editing...

Silence
Something about the silence between the notes...
After listening to sammydix's remix I had to check out the original. Beautifully played and recorded. I really like the subtle background drone and ambient noise.

This rocks in a different way
When music carries you away to another place, it has served it's purpose faithfully. I left my chair, my room, and found myself on top of that rock. What is it about flutes that beckon and make you want to follow the piper? Thanks for the post, Victor.

On the wind...
I feel carried away to a place of peace and contemplation. What a subtle track that is full of longing and reflection. Vic, this is beautifully played and makes such good use of such simple elements. I do wish it were longer. A 5 or 6 minute meditation would be a sublime gift. Very very nice.

Reflective
This is quite spine-chilling especially with some dissonent-sounding chords. There's quite a sense of isolation here. Excellent picture-painting.
