A generous dedication...
Feter lived in Damascus, I believe (he played some of my music in his coffee shop for a time before it got too dangerous there). I believe he is now living in the U.S. (northeast?). Your track has a very distinct Middle-Eastern feeling to it. Much different from anything else you have posted, too. It is solemn and respectful and even urgent in concept and presentation. Beautifully done, Harold. You work a small piece of magic here with all the overlapping voices. (And, yes: I hope Feter and others find safety...and soon.)

Well done
It's nice when you come out of your "comfort zone" once in a while, since you do it so well, a master of many genres when you put your mind to it. I really enjoyed the solemnity of this piece.

Peace,
Henke
