Great guitar textures. So much one can do with a Telecaster. The bass line is very strong as well. Working well with that syncopated drum groove. Strong melody, well sung.

Real nice Tele work
I could hear some synth on this - as it is I like the low level keys that come and go in the mid range around 1:25 - or maybe it's the tele in another tone.

it's sometimes hard to know when a song is "done" isn't it? to me this already sounds complete. i don't mean that additional synth layers wouldn't be good additions, just that the song doesn't (to my ears) sound like it needs more. heh - this from someone who tends to through in everything but the kitchen sink! nice work steve, and nice to hear something new from you!

Good sharp guitars. Plenty going on here, so doesn't need more for mine - in fact maybe the pattery drums could be simpler? Warm delivery of the lyrics. I like this a lot!

Another fine post, Steve. Like the guitars and bass a lot. Your vocals are really polished, too. High quality production. Thanks, Peter.

Agreed...
What you have is fine just as it is. I think the bass is too much, however. It overshadows all the other instruments and just rumbles around down there drowning out the vocal. To me, if that bass is dialed back a bit in volume, this would be a terrific track. You got some great guitar work going on and the general rhythmic vibe is interesting from the get-go. Won't take much to get this finished.

Yes to guitars and bass. Really nice sound to them.
Vocals are good.
Is there a sort of crowd or traffic noise in the background.
Sort of fits in a way
Maybe a but more colour to the drum track..even if just a crash to punctuate changes in chorus/verse.
Good track
cheers

Theres a kind of wooshy modulation delay on one of the guitar tracks that I just put on to f*ck with the sound a bit (as I thought it was a bit too clean otherwise)
Cheers!

steve....cool track. your vocal is always the real deal....you sound like a pro performer....you could be talking bollocks but it wouldn't matter.
love the bass going all over the place. i have an aversion to any song with the word 'tv' in the lyrics....but at least there are no maj sevenths :)
love the lead guitar licks. excellent track.

Love it
Steve this is great. Really like the tone of your guitar , do I hear tremolo? All around top shelf here, the mix is superb , it all works bass, clean lines, drums just the right balance . The vocals are very good work well with this genre. As for the lyrics I like the story you tell about being in the shadows I can relate to that. Nice work!
