funny stuff
I had to go to wiki to know what chav means. You sure seem to be quite brilliant in making a fun-to-hear piece of music. Quite elaborate piece of music on impulse or far that matter even a shoulders to the wheel song. Great talent woof in having your own style and making it very entertaining and good times are had by all ! WaY tO gO woof!

for some reason
it reminds me of 1966 era david bowie...even tho chavs were not on the radar at that point...what would it have been back in those days?

great impulse...glad you acted upon it

you should get jeremey kyle to play it

Funny you should say that about Jeremy Kyle I heard someone say, only a few days ago that they ought to rename his program 'Chavs'.

chavtastic
hey john
what brought this on - have you suddenly observed excesses of burberry being sported around the valleys?
can you please write something damning about that tv chav duo 'cunt' and 'dick'....sorry, i mean 'ant & dec'. now those two really ought to be trussed in beige check and slung down the nearest disused mine shaft.
anyway, back to this chav song. excellent....look forward to enjoying the lyrics
hope you've got the heating on

Julian, thank you
Your responses always cheer me up, I must remember the forehead duos new 'nom de plume' - so fitting - I saw them the other night. I did give them a mention in my 'I'm a celebrity' song a while back but you're right, they should have an entire song to themselves. Appreciate you listening.

Merci beaucoup Alackbass
I usually do follow my impulses, and this particular impulse I felt needed following up so here it is. I'm glad it made you smile. It made me smile too when I ran it again before posting as I'd completely forgotten about the toilet flushing effect near the end. So childish!

Loud enough for me
Another very enjoyable take on contemporary England.

A lot more fun than the songs Graeme and I are doing about where we are today!

Cheers

the chav song
Hilarious. Crazy sound effects. I wish we had a similar pejorative epithet for the similar "personality" we have here. But there seem to be even more sub-personalities in the States. Loved it.

Chavs are chavs and I'm sure a chav in your country will have the same basic characteristics as one of ours. I'm pleased you liked it, thanks for commenting.

working class zero
It's not been the same in Treorchy since Burberry closed their factory there. Poor Chavs now have to wear bootleg copies. It's awful.
A classic Woofer tune.
I think I got most of the lyrics.
Love the sound effects at the end.
Funny how our American friends don't know what Chavs are.
Are trailer trash their Chavs?
Anyway
Great song. Loved it

Hello Brendan, glad you liked it. I don't know what the American's call them but I suppose they must have a collective term. I've never heard of trailer trash. -I'll bet you though, whatever they're called they don't wear Burberry!

I'm glad this made you smile, my music is rarely meant to be taken too seriously at the best of times, being brought up in the fifties I was raised on the three minute 'fun' single so maybe this has something to do with it.

Shades of Rocky Raccoon
...on steroids.
This is such a fun track, John. I love the way it just chugs along without taking any prisoners. Surprisingly, the lyrics come through very clearly even though you are zipping along at such an unrelenting clip. You keep the band in check so nicely in this mix.

hello Paul
and thank you - yes I remember Rocky Raccoon - I remember not knowing what to make of the White Album when I first heard it but love it now of course. This is one of those songs that seemed to write itself and nearly got binned a few times, though that happens with most of my pieces.

the chav song
That cheeky, bouncy opening was the promise of another Woofer special, John, and you delivered, as always. A topic ripe for a bit of a kicking and you sunk those playful size 14's all the way in. The sense of fun hides some fine musical and recording skills. Thanks, Peter.

Hello Doug -
Well not now I've got used to it I can't - some of the rhyming makes me smile more now than when it was written - 'chav' with 'lav' is one of my favorites I think. Thanks for listening.

Delightfully funny! Musical satire is no shallow water sport (meant for the deep end of the lou), and it's clear you're competent in those deep and murky waters (LOL). Clever satire backed by tight and lilting music. Its just bound to bring a smile and make your day!

Thank you sschedra
I'm pleased you like it, I've always had a bit of affection for this sort of style, I used to listen a lot to 'novelty' records from way back and then later on to Frank Zappa and Spitting image's songs. I could never and still can't resist them.
