Description
composed by J. S. Bach

maybe i should include a clue... it was devilishly hard to keep analog synths in tune for long. i tried to capture that pitch drift here

S.O.B. (not that SOB)
Whoaaa, retrograde feeelllll. You were really in top form for this one - fully switched on some might say across the pond. And you did a fine job taming the analogue synths. Do you actually have a Moog Bill? A hand me down from Wendy? Am I close?

Nice one!
Doug

no Moog... just GB synths... but i got to play with a real one in the 70's at UConn's electronic music lab. it might have been Walter's, who knows? -- thanks

Oh, I know what this is!
Doug Somers whispers words of wisdom -- S.O.B. by W.C. is one of my all-time favorite albums (the original, not the 2000 remake).

Retro Moog
Such wonderful memories of those original covers by Walter (Wendy) Carlos. Really nice job. Wish you'd have done the entire invention. This is really well done.

I'll make no comment or guesses because I haven't a clue, but I'll just say that I LOVE these reworkings. Tip o'the hat to Wendy, for sure. Excellent work, do more please.

Out of the park - and on the nose
are you actually playing all of this - or did you find some helpful midi? Impressive either way. Love the analog sound you got from the new digitalia.

GarageBand: Analog Mono, Analog Basic, Digital Mono, Bass (Prog Rock Bass) with effects like compressor, bitcrusher, auto wah, phaser

notes came from a midi file off the internet, hand-checked note by note for accuracy against Schirmer's

I think I was probably to "cool" (read ignorant) to lock into the "Switched on Bach" scene :-) but this sounds great, Bill. Thanks, Peter.
