Description
Dug out from old files never fully realized, dusted off, and bounced out of hibernation :)

This is really simple, really short, and rather minimalist... But, I'll admit--I've fallen asleep a time or two working on it late at night!

Bounced out of Hibernation
WARNING - don't try that with bears.

This goes into the category less is more. It paints a vivid picture (to me) especially for being such a restrained piece. I love astronomically themed pieces that ground the perspective when seen from the earth's horizon. Moonrise certainly fits into that category. Very nicely done Cat. And thanks for the dload.

I can see images.
Yes, landscapes and water viewed from a serene floating spacecraft drifting silently through the air. Strange how evocative you've managed to make this, made from simple ingredients yes, but still those ingredients are carefully and skilfully used. What a relief to find the comment system working again! Damn those nasty hack attacks...

Less is more indeed
Perfect as it is, really nice one. Could be twice as long I suppose, but then there is always "repeat one" :-) Thanks for the download!

Happy holidays,
Henke

Somewhat Reminiscent...
of the simple but haunting Indian flute music I remember hearing around the Grand Canyon. Elemental can be very powerful, because it is accurate — and honest. ;)

Just...
peaceful and serene and all so well-paced. Doug nailed it: less is more, indeed. I could listen to a 20 minute loop of this and come away so relaxed. If you ever think of elongating this number, I wouldn't mind trying my hand at the addition of a wooden flute somewhere around 10 minutes in...to paint the sky with gentle swaths of new color...and to illumine my soul as well. Just...beautiful.
