Wow! Better &mdash 03/11/05 - 03:30:48 PM
That piano sounds great now. Warm and clear. I'd still like
to hear a better tuning on that guitar part, really just
during that melody we hear in the begining and after each
chorus.

I love this song.

I think it's your high E string that's sharp.

Hehe.. you're probably right. I remember that I noticed that problem in the
beginning too. But when you've listened to a tune 100 times, sometimes stuff
that didn't sound right in the beginning, starts to sound "okay". That guitar
had terrible intonation problems at the time we recorded. We will fix the
guitar soon..

It's nice to hear that people like this piece :)

This reminded me a lot of one of my favorite groups of
the 90s Trip Shakespeare. Especially love the opening
lyrics.

Nice tune &mdash 03/14/05 - 09:41:20 PM
I really like the instrumentation. What software did you
use?

Nice tune &mdash 03/15/05 - 10:50:16 AM
Logic Pro 6 with EXS as sampler. The strings are from SI and the piano is
some kind of Kawai electric piano soundfont-thingy.
Glad you liked it :)

Excellent sound design &mdash 03/28/05 - 11:08:26 AM
Excellent sound, audio concept, arrangement; fantastic
vocals, great mixing, levels, strength, warmth. Some of
the higher strings sound a tad MIDI, and there are a
couple of clicks (I think in the guitar track) at the end of
the instrumental and in your coda, which may be a
fingering thing, but that is nitpicking. This is such a cool
track. Very nice use of percussion. I just love the sound.
(Wish you'd post your lyrics; I'd love to study this more.)
