Description
I recorded a melody on my uke and I thought it might be nice with a female vocal. I added some oohs and doo doo's for the basic melody I had in mind and sent it to Anne Cozean and asked her if she would be interested in writing some words and singing on it. I love Annes voice and was thrilled when she said she would do it. She sent it back quite quickly .... a lovely track with words that fit perfectly with the melody.
I added all the harmony vocals and .... well ... here it is.
Thank you Anne
and thanks for listening.

Anne Cozean Lyrics, lead vocal
Stan Gadziola Music, BG vocals and mix

lately,
i haven't had much time for anything but work, but it's always cool when you come back and find tunes like this. i thought i was listening to Stevie Nicks for a second or two. wonderful peaceful island feel to this song. brilliant mix.

Never Been So Blue
Stan, this is just magic. Great feel good vibe and Anne's beautiful, natural vocals - just magical. Wonderful backing track, too, Stan. Life and space. The Frampton uke outro is a classic. Anne's vocals and the style of song reminded me of Mary Black - one of my favourite female vocalists. Thanks for the D/L you two. Kind regards, Peter.

two of my faves...
(or is it three?)... This is melodic heaven-song. Love it. How did you get such a good sound on that uke? I know how Sisters got their sound - blessed! Great collab which again shows that if not for the internet, and in this case MacJams, this kind of music would never see the light of day, let alone be recorded.... Kudos.

Seriously good vibes
I love this melody ... very bright and pleasant ... and I admit that I thought from the title that it would be a blues tune.

Sweet, Lovely Tune...
...and the whole presentation is just so...so...perfect. What a very pretty song that is played with such care and delicate attention to every little detail. Absolutely wonderful vocals make this a supremely listenable song that just feels so good on the ears. What a great collaboration.

I think .....
...... I'm just about to buy a uke so I can teach my granddaughter a few chords. This has done nothing to dissuade me Stan. Beautiful vocal Big Sis, and your BGVs sound amazing Stan.
Lovely post.

Lovely
I too got shade of Stevie Nicks for some reason from Anne's exquisite vocals ..then I got some Sean Connery ..but that was mostly because I imagined him trying to sing this line: "I don't want to miss this, 'cos this is what bliss is".. then I was right back again :) I has a very tropical beach, summer breeze kinda feel to it .. and I loved the little Uke/Anne synchro melodies towards the end. More than impressive, outstanding.
