This is just a chunk from a song in the works, which struck me as much higher quality than the rest of the piece. The fact i can't actually play the solo takes some of the sweetness out of it (it was done and then condensed and cleaned up) but I am still pleased with it..

I have no clue what your descrition really was saying.
I think it was really short, so I'm not sure what you're
shooting for in the comments...maybe you could
clarify a little?

It's hard to tell really without a larger context. It has a
latin classical-jazzy Chick Corea feel, I guess.
I might have production suggestions later on with a larger
section of the song, but the placement and balance of
instruments sound OK too here, I think. As you develop
this, keep in mind to have the instruments sound like
they're in the same room on the same stage, but not
sitting on top of each other - but not too far apart either.

The way one instrument stops when the next one starts,
really sounds unnatural. That strange bass part...

I really can't make heads or tails of this.

I would like to see this as part of a larger piece but I definitely think this is something you can build on/ around. Keep going with it!

It's a classical piece actually. Only the acoustic bass makes
it jazzy, which off course is very beautiful. What I would
like to know: Is it purely looping or did you play the
piano? I love the mood of the song. A little bit longer
would be great. And it doesn't need any other
instruments at all.

Oh no, this is all my stuff!!

As i tried and failed miserably to say in the description, this chunkette was
improvised scales done on the piano which I then cleaned up and paced up to
produce the acoustic guitar.
