Cool beat...
...that maybe takes over just a bit too much. I am losing some of the little solo bits because the bass is a mite loud. ... Not getting the sense there's much more than a rhythm track here. Am I missing something? Don't get me wrong: I like the rhythm track a lot...I also like the mini-chorale around 1:50 or so, but it is so short-lived and I wonder why it's there. Help me out...

Loops ... are just macros
In the computer-programming world, “macros” are bread-and-butter things:   “big things” that you can incorporate by-reference.   Who cares, really, where they came from.

This is a very imaginative piece that has a well-defined structure ... with a certain “James Bond” twist ... and the bottom-line is simply that “it works, and it works very well.”
