Lyrics
There are some birds on the feeder
But most are in the trees
The girl from the desert is fast asleep
And I think about everything she says

She sings a song I still remember
It always helps if I sing along

I’m headed south with my cleaver ways
They have seen better days
I’m on a rail running out of town
I’ll meet you by the water
When this all settles down

She sings a song I still remember
It always helps if I sing along

I thought about my father
And would he wish me well
And the girl from the desert
She’s having her coffee
And I think about everything she says

And I think about everything she says
And I think about everything she says

She sings a song I still remember
It always helps if I sing along

I thought about our stagnant ways
And our dreams of better days
And I think about everything she says

Everything She Says
Beautiful opening. I like the song, the easy vocal and the harmonies. Little touches through the arrangement give variety and interest. Slightly abrupt ending? Fine production. I like this a lot!

Nice structure through out
Has a sweet jingle and a memorable melody, one that reminds a person of moments that happen in their past. Catchy lyrics that pull a listener in. Really like the laid back instrumentation and your vocals sound really good. Fine job and a enjoyable listen.

Lou Reed
style vocal delivery ... a sincere compliment. I really love the laid back rolling along feel of this. Nice lyrics. Believe I'll take a copy and thanks!

the opening
is very thunder road-ish, which is a very good thing. Really like the guitar, and your voice is sat quite nicely in the mix. good work. vocals remind me of a combination of bruce and the lead singer of this great band called Houndmouth. I highly recommend them.

Wow!
A real song, very catchy, great feel and vibe, cool lyrics, nice hook. Your vocals are a little too tentative, you sound nervous and reserved, pulling back from the mic. I think you might consider re-doing them, because it's a great song and the vocals just need a little work for it to be awesome imho! Jd.

Good memories
I think you're getting more mellow with each passing song : )

Even among the sadness and dysfunction there seems to be an element of contentment .. or at least accommodation .. expressed here.

Everything She Says
I really like the opening and the song maintains the same high standard, Tim. It has an appealing laid back vibe and a production style that made me think of Neil Young's first couple of (mostly acoustic) albums. The lyrics are really good, too. Yep, a keeper. Thanks, Peter.

girl from the desert
Very nice lyrics. Tells a story with images you can visualize. Nice groove to the music as it almost feels like you are floating along on top of the music as it weaves around the bend.

Sweetest
opening music. I would like your vocal to be a bit more upfront but not so loud that you lose the intimacy. Very nice, indeed. I will be posting new songs soon.
