Lola sings lala

 Genre: Renaissance

Get Flash to see this player.

Lola the maid runs in and out of the banquet hall serving dishes.
She sings along with the music that is playing, but she doesn't really know the tune so she makes up her own notes.
The musical director looks at her disapprovingly, but no one else seems to mind.

The final movement in my Courtly Suite! Yes! Finished! After 7 years or so.....

Stuffy old music director!
I didn't mind either. Love listening to your flute, Victor. I was hoping to hear it live again at the get together in Dallas. Hopefully, next time? This was great. Thanks for sharing. T

The strands weave together so wonderfully, Victor. It brought a smile to my face. Worth the wait. Thanks, Peter.

A lot of work went into this from the composition to the performance and production. superb. Is that Lola in the picture? I can see why the guests dont mind if she sings along.

Y'know, usually I can find a decent picture to go with a track. I'm really not happy with this one. It lacks the playfulness of the music and the blurb.

Thanks for the compliments on the music.

Courtly Dance...
The story behind this delightful little number makes complete sense. Nice to hear your recorder taking the lead again. Sounds like there are some reeds in the bass and as counterpoint to the tune. Am I hearing that correctly? The two transitional chords around 1:15 are very cool...and unexpected. Nice.

The bass is a pretty bad cello sample. It does sound a bit bassoonish.

Thanks for listening, commenting, and liking.
