Oldfield? &mdash 03/14/05 - 03:05:24 PM
Rather nice start to a tune... sort of Mike Oldfield-esque in
the sound and harmonies. This sounds like a great thing
to go ahead and finish, if you can... why was it never
finished? There are several directions to go with it. My
preference would be to add a slow-sliding Pink-Floyd-like
guitar over this... or a short hummed chorus. But
hopefully other people with much more musical sensibility
will jump in and give much more useful ideas than mine!
:-) Welcome to this cool place known as MacJams!

Thanks for listening and giving feedback. Really appreciate the advice and agree that a floyd style guitar would be nice. Wish I could come up with a chorus, or some type of change that would maintain the feel but continue to explore.
Thanks again,
Swanny

I agree with Drak,
thii is certainly a beautiful track that needs to be
finished, I love the piano along with the guitar, although
it gets a little repetitive. as a bridge idea you could
perhaps make some chord changes and change the piano
rythym /melody to something slightly different or bring in
another guitar riff that could either solo or add in some
sweeping synth pads along with it.

Very good so far though

I really dig your stuff &mdash 04/03/05 - 09:36:11 PM
You leave a ton of room for potential melodies, solos, etc.
Very open ended and very cool.

Would you be interested in some collaborative work?
