Nicely, done, Bill. Clean, crisp. Don Felder would be interested, I think!

Oh, you did it...
didn't you? Took the classic guitar song and made it your own...
You did it and how well you did it! Bill, so fine and clear (production is perfect) and your finger-style playing brings this tune anew to us oldies. Thanks...

Yes
trying to sound like a whole band sometimes just doesn't always fit in the way I want. There are so many styles now a days to do a cover of a pop tune with it's beat you can spend 2 lifetimes and not feel you accomplished mastering them.

The hits keep coming
Those fingers are gifted, along with the rest of the man. An Eagles cover and no capo on the seventh fret either folks! Your breaking protocol there. Thanks for sharing your talents with us here. Consistently excellent!

Very good understanding of the tune
I really like your comment of the tune about the 7 fret capo ! I was playing that for quite a while doing the arrangement with that on my acoustical guitar, it sounded limited to when doing the whole complete song that way. And being that there is a latin flavor I opted for the nylon string guitar for the whole tune to give it variation. I added a tremolo effect at the beginning to distance myself from trying to sound like a whole band and bring it more of a solo guitarist view with a personal slant.

Again, glad you noticed about the 7 fret capo!

Hey Bill
You know exactly what I was talking about lol. I knew you would :) It's an inside joke of course, and you and I might be the only ones around MJ who understand the notion. Let's let that soak in my friend. Anyway, I wanted to compliment you on your great playing over the years here at MJ. I was trying to get you to realize how rare what you can do is... and how much I appreciate your skills.

Very nicely done, Bill. Fine rendition with enough of your own personality for it to sound as fresh as a daisy. Thanks, Peter

Tiler,
It's been a long time since we chatted. How are you? Your fingers are still dancing on those strings like bluebirds at play! Love it. Did you ever revisit Nashville?

That's still waiting in the wings.
Not sure if I'll be back physically but I am pretty much tied with it for now.

Thanks Richard for the listen and the comment. Glad to hear from you again !!!!

Home Again
Bill, you are celebrating your home here I know. Those notes blowing in like the fog, swirling mysteriously in the air, while the waves crash on the rocks. The warm tones taking the chill out of that Bay Area dampness. That song really does capture California well and your version adds to it.
