Description:
This is one of my earlier ones. I decided to upload it for lack of any new material, and I felt it was time to add something, so...
I personally don't like it very much, it's a little boring, but I was still new to GB and music in general. Anyway, enough talk. Thanks for listening guys.

I've heard worse &mdash 03/17/05 - 05:54:01 PM
a lot worse here.
Not all music in a soundtrack has to come up and slam
you to the ground and jump on your stomach and slap
your face and tickle your toes. Some music may only play
a variation of a motif associated previously with a
character on screen while he's waiting in th shadows for
his nemisis to turn the corner, waiting in order to jump on
his stomach, slap his face and tickle his toes or whatever.

I like it when my toes get tickled, but you're right,
and I appreciate your candid response. Always a
pleasure Mungo!

some good textures &mdash 06/17/05 - 12:47:19 PM
Although your own assessment of this piece has elements
of truth (yes, it could be more distinctive.....but it's not
boring, exactly) there are some very interesting and
pleasing sound combinations here.

You have a talent for combining various sounds to create
a pleasing whole; very "sound-track" like.

This piece might benefit from a more distinctive melodic
"hook", a definable melody to tie things together more
cohesively. You hint at this with some of the piano in this
piece.

This is certainly not bad music by any stretch of the
imagination. It simply needs a little more "flavor".
