Description
Number 144 in my collection of piano solos By The Numbers.
Henry Spragens - aka H3nry (www.macjams.com/artist/Henry)- commented on my previous post that I was close to composing "a dozen dozen" of these little pieces, so I, of course, took the challenge to make that a reality.

This one's a bit of a bugger to play, mostly because it doesn't allow much of a chance to breathe (or to blink!), but I did my best with the recording and I hope that you will enjoy listening to it. If you are interested, the score can be found here:

Beauty in Numbers
The numbers keep piling up.

And why not? As long as the music keeps flowing out of you .. it makes sense to keep writing and recording these pieces.

You make everything sound so easy (even those difficult passages!) that I wouldn't even know it was challenging unless you said so.

Of course, that's part of the point .. to keep challenging yourself creatively and adeptly .. in order to keep it compelling, refreshing and rewarding.

A Dozen Dozen
You need to head towards a baker's dozen dozen next, Paul. We will keep listening and admiring your sense of melody and wonderful touch. Lots on notes tucked away in this one but nary a one sounds wasted :-) A fitting 144th. Thanks, Peter.

Alot of 'fingership' went into playing this ( fingership aka workmanship..just sprang from my mind as I listened) I especially liked the gentle build-ups involved.. My sincere compliments to you

Intricate and flowing.
I so enjoy the contrast of the delicate and swagger and the ovational Page blue notes all of which make this distinctively and recognizably your own.
Cheers,
Charlie

Delightful from start to finish. It would work well in a movie or two. (So many moods are created here.)

A Gross Understatement...
... it would be to say this delicate little romp on the keyboard is a nimble gem. It evokes the image of someone successfully traversing a difficult path with grace, élan and style. ;)
