It's really about pollution but some people have suggested an alternate theme. That's OK with me.

Shades of
The Royal Guardsmen. Nice retro sound on this... very
cool guitar really captures that authentic 60's rock sound.
Nice subdued vocal and harmonies. Any chance you can
post the lyrics?

Mix sounded good but I would suggest bringing the bass
up a smidge.

shades of
AC, thanks for the kind words.
I think you're right on the bass and I'll tweak that.

Here are the words:

Three advocates of the right, one day
Were heard to agree
Some things in the universe
Have just no right to be.
"What should we do?"
Said the Lord of Law
"With the tangled scene below."
"I think there's trouble brewing now"
"That they know the things they know."

Wasted, wasted, wasted, yeah
Aaah, aaah,
That's what's in the plan
Wasted, wasted, wasted, yeah
Aaah, aah,
Anyway you can.

"They're likely to destroy themselves,"
Said The One Clad All In Grey.
"If left to their own devices, they may"
"Blow it all away."
"They've come to a point, my friends,"
"Where they've filled their lakes and seas."
"But should we stop them"
"Ere they spread"
"To the stars, like a dread disease?"

Wasted, wasted, wasted, yeah . . .

"It's a consequence of placing fools"
"In a seeming paradise."
"It's hopeless, now,"
Said The Faceless Lord.
"And they'e beyond advice."
"And now it appears that the die is cast,"
"They've caused their own demise."
"Their salvation's doomed to die"
"In the protests of the wise!"

It's all been
Wasted, wasted, wasted, yeah . . .

(After your observations I'm thinking of adding "After the
turn of the century, in the clear blue skies over Germany .
. .)

Problems with comments
I've tried multiple times on separate occasions to say that I liked this tune and added it to my favorites. If the comment works this time, it'll show a problem with Safari as I'm using Firefox right now.

I am hooked....
You got a sound that I simply like. Nothing else to
discuss. Finally getting around to listening to a number of
your songs.

Nice
I like this song a lot. All the elements come together in a
nice package. Has a retro feel without being cliche or
stale. Nice voice too.
